32nd Annual Twins Days Festival

On a break whilst filming the A-Team over the weekend Jamie managed to pop along to the 32nd Annual Twins Days Festival. Twins Days is a festival for biological twins which has taken place every summer since 1976 in Twinsburg, Ohio. It is the largest annual gathering of twins in the world. The event has twin based contests, "talent" shows, and a parade and routinely draws thousands of participants from all over the world.

Coincidently, Jamie's stunt double for the A-Team was none other than his long lost twin brother, Colin Spencer. The identical pair narrowly missed out on being crowned festival champions to a Charlie and Craig Reid from Auchtermuchty, Scotland.

Unfortunately Colin did not take the defeat well and could not forgive Jamie for dropping the baton during the talent section of the competition. The act involved a complicated display of baton twirling and featured a Macaque monkey, Two Bengal tigers and a 5 year old child called Trevor. Colin was so angry that he later visited a local plastic surgeon and now resembles a young Bonnie Langford.

The J-Team

Jamie is out of the country this weekend filling in for George Peppard in the eagerly anticipated sixth season of the A-Team. The story goes that after a 21 year hiatus the team has reinvented itself as a dance troupe touring the Far East who are called upon by the US Government to bring down Korean dictator, Kim Jong-Il.

Jamie secured the role after "wowing" the producers with his ballet skills which he picked up from the Moscow State Ballet when he starred along side the great Gary Kasparov in the 1999 rendition of Swan Lake where he played Princess Odette.

Production of the 48 episode season starts today and is due to wrap on Monday evening. Jamie is expected to return to work on Tuesday. NBC have released the following promotional photograph of the upcoming televisual extravaganza.
