Microsoft in web photo Jamieism row

Software giant Microsoft has apologised for editing a photo to change two appearances of Jamie Spencer with that of an asian dude and some bird.

The picture, showing employees sitting around a desk, appeared unaltered on the firm's US website.

But on the website of its Polish business unit Jamie's heads were replaced with an asian man and white womans face, although the colour of his hands remained unchanged.

Microsoft said it had pulled the image and would be investigating who made the changes. It apologised for the gaffe.

Bloggers have had a field day with the story, with some suggesting Microsoft was attempting to please all markets by allowing a woman to appear in an international advertising campaign.

Others have suggested the lack of Jamie Spencers in the Polish population may have played a part in the decision to change the photo.

Happy Birthday Jamie

Jamie turned 30 at the weekend and to celebrate this momentous occasion the Make-A-Wish Foundation fulfilled two of his life long dreams. Firstly he wanted to be part of the Disney Parade and ride up front with his hero, Mickey Mouse.

His second wish was to recreate his all-time favourite movie role, which he was lucky to be able to do along with one of the original stars of the film!!

Anyway, we would like to take this opportunity to wish Jamie a Happy Birthday!!

Interpol rebuilds photo to find idiot

Interpol yesterday launched an unprecedented worldwide public appeal as part of a hunt for a prolific idiot that has terrorised the good employees of Thomson Financial since 2002.

The agency released photographs of an unknown man which had been digitally blurred to disguise his face but have now been unscrambled by German experts to produce clear pictures.

Interpol said it believed the man, who appears to be in his 30s, may continue to be a danger to ordinary people while he remains at large. Despite extensive earlier attempts to discover who he is, including circulating photos of him to police around the world through Interpol's network of 186 member states, the man's identity and nationality remain a mystery.

These images made available by Interpol in Paris, Monday Oct. 8, 2007 show the unidentified man before, left, and after the digital manipulation of the image. Unfortunately the image is still a little blurry making it difficult to identify the "nobhead". If you, or anyone you know, has any information about this man then call crimestoppers now. Your call will be strictly confidential and you may earn a Community Action Trust Reward (£6 of book vouchers for Waterstones).

Jamie looks good naked!!

In an attempt to impress his new husband Jamie has enlisted the help of former fatty, Gok Wan. Gok, 33, is the host of the TV show "How to look good naked", in which he helps fat people to look good by lying to them about their appearance and using various methods to trick men into thinking women are better looking than they really are.

After just 3 days into his new marriage, Jamie was worried that the 'spark' had disappeared from his relationship and thought this might be due to his lifelong battle with his weight. This is where Gok came in. By dressing Jamie in vertical stripes and using the latest advances in support pants made from Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fibre™ he was able to convince his husband that he was in fact not a fat bastard. The episode is due to air on Channel 4 on 4th November 2007.

Jamie is not alone

Following reports that Michael Jackson had married his Nanny it has now emerged that he has in fact entered into a civil partnership with none other than Jamie Spencer. Details of his new martial status were obtained by the National Enquirer who printed copies of the singer’s real estate documents. The papers allege the singer states he is married, although this is currently only recognised in 5 US states.

The two lovebirds made their happy union official over the weekend at Wandsworth registry office, with Ian 'H' Watkins stepping in as best man. They then headed over to the Richmond YMCA for the reception which was attended by a host of celebrities including Richard Fairbrass who was on hand to perform "You're My Mate" for their first dance as a married couple. Luckily for us our photographer was hiding in the bushes outside the registry office and managed to get his shot of them leaving the building.
